How Can Obtain Tickets For The Fa Cup Final 2012
how can obtain tickets for the fa cup final 2012
Chelsea vs Birmingham City – FA Cup preview
Feb 17th, 2012 | By Aylesburyblue | Category: Blues News, Lead Article, MatchesThis weekend the real Blues take their unbeaten 2012 record to those other Blues from London to see how the other half live. This is really a game where we have nothing to lose. Our worst case scenario is to get knocked out, have no extra games to play and get a big wad of cash that will help keep the wolf from the door. The gate receipts from Stamford Bridge combined with the ESPN TV coverage will be welcome for a club in our position. So basically we need to go there, enjoy the day and see what happens. Last time I wrote that sentence was before a certain cup final this time last year so you never know.
With our game against Barnsley rearranged for next Tuesday I suspect the squad to be rotated again. The line-up will most probably be similar to that against Sheffield United in the 4th round with Elliot playing behind Rooney. Marlon King doesn't look fit and Nikola Zigic is one week away from returning (Again!) so options up front are very limited. We will need to keep the first choice defence if we have any hope of avoiding a hiding. Chelsea have a big game coming up against Napoli in the Champions League so will also shuffle the pack and most likely be limited to just the eleven full internationals. Let's hope they play Torres though. John Terry is unlikely to play which while it weakens them it does spoil the opportunity for us to have a good boo.
As with our victory over Chelsea in November 2010 the only way to unlikely victory is to keep them out and hope to get lucky. Set pieces will be our best chance although Chelsea are a big side and generally defend those well. They have not been in the best form of late but having given up on the league they will have more emphasis on the cup. It's probably their only chance of silverware this season with even Champions League qualification not looking straightforward. If they were to lose to us tomorrow and not beat Napoli then I wouldn't give Mr Villas Boas much chance of still being there at Easter. I believe that would make him the fifth manager to be sacked shortly after losing to us.
The 3000 allocation was snapped up very quickly on Monday and we could have sold a lot more. I'm glad I got that club card now as that let me buy mine the previous Friday. It looks like there will be a fair few empty seats in the Chelsea stands though which is sad as you'd have thought that some of their fans that normally can't afford the extortionate league prices would take the chance to see their club play. The same tickets will cost £20 more in their next league game. We'll have fun anyway whatever the result and despite the early kick off that often dampens the atmosphere. It's a nice diversion from the weekly slog that is the Championship and you never know….. we might even win.
My prediction Chelsea 2 Real Blues 0 (Realism wins out but remember I am always wrong)
C'mon you Blue Boys
